Case of Interest:
County of Allegheny, et al. v. American Civil Liberties Union et al., 492 U.S. 573 (1989) affirmed in part and reversed in part the judgment of Judge McCune, holding that a nativity scene at a courthouse violated the establishment clause of the
Constitution, but that a menorah next to a Christmas tree in the courthouse was not unconstitutional.
