The Clerk's Office in Erie, Johnstown and Pittsburgh are open
to the public from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M..
Holidays
The Clerk's Office and
Court will be closed on the following holidays:

Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday, 3rd Monday in January
Presidents
Day, 3rd Monday in February
Memorial
Day, Last Monday in May
Independence
Day, July 4
Labor Day,
First Monday in September
Columbus
Day, 2nd Monday in October
Veterans
Day, November 11
Thanksgiving
Day, 4th Thursday in November
Christmas
Day, December 25
Whenever one of the legal holidays falls on Saturday or Sunday, the Clerk's
Office and Court will be closed on the Friday immediately preceding, or
the Monday immediately following, respectively.

Hazardous
Weather
Emergency situations may
arise that are beyond our control which may result in the closing or
early dismissal of the court.
During non-working hours,
when hazardous weather conditions exists, the Chief Judge, or Acting
Chief Judge will make the determination whether or not to close the
Court. Every effort will be made to have an announcement to the public
by 6:00 A.M. Announcements will be given to the following radio and
television stations:
KDKA Radio and Television
WTAE Radio and Television
WPXI Television
The announcement should
say that the Federal Court is closed. DO NOT confuse this with any
announcements saying that the Federal Government is closed, or that
the District Court is closed.
