Advisory for Prospective Jurors

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania implemented a new method for gathering juror questionnaires. You may have received a postcard from our Court (click here to see sample postcard). Should you have questions about completing the questionnaire on our website, please contact the Jury Office at 412-208-7540.

Potential jurors can save time and postage by responding to their jury summons online through eJuror.Using eJuror, potential jurors can:

  • Complete the Juror Information Form
  • Request postponement/excuse/partial excuse
  • Check the status of any request
  • Update contact information
  • Print proof of attendance

To complete the jury information form online, jurors will need the nine (9) digit participant number, located to the right of your name and address on their summons to access the eJuror system.  If successfully completed online, the jury information from is not required to be returned to our office.  If you experience any problems using eJuror, please call 412-208-7540 during business hours.   Click here to access eJUROR.

PLEASE BE AWARE that the jury staff does not call citizens to demand payment of a fine or to request social security numbers, credit card information, bank information, or any other sensitive data.  If you should receive such a telephone call, you should not disclose any personal or financial information or submit payment of any kind.  Anyone receiving a phone call of this nature should contact the local offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the United States Marshal’s Office.  Click here for details
