WHEREAS, on the afternoon of June 17, 2021 the President of the United States declared June 19th as a federal holiday pursuant to the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act; WHEREAS, June 19, 2021 falls on a Saturday;
WHEREAS, because Juneteenth falls on a Saturday this year, the Office of Personnel Management has advised that Friday, June 18, 2021 will be an observed federal holiday to celebrate Juneteenth in 2021;
