Wednesday, April 8, 2020

Due to public health concerns arising from the COVID-19 virus, and the closure of the Pittsburgh Field Office of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services through May 3, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania has postponed the naturalization ceremonies, scheduled to be held on Friday April 17, 2020 in the Court’s Pittsburgh and Johnstown divisions, and on Friday, May 1, 2020 in the Court’s Pittsburgh division. Candidates for citizenship scheduled for these ceremonies will receive information from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about rescheduling. Any prospective citizen particularly impacted by this postponement should contact the Pittsburgh Field Office of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services through the following link for further information: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices/pennsylvania-pittsburgh-field-office.
