The current term of office of Lisa B. Freeland, Federal Public Defender for the Western District of Pennsylvania, is due to expire on September 29, 2021. As required by statute, 18 U.S.C. § 3006A, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit is considering the reappointment of Ms. Freeland to a new four-year term and a committee will assist in its review.
