Pro Bono Programs
The United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania seeks attorneys to represent pro se litigants in civil rights cases and dispute resolution professionals to mediate those cases.
Participants in these Programs:
- Gain invaluable experience in federal court.
- Build dispute resolution and litigation skills through practical experience.
- Handle intellectually challenging issues involving Constitutional law.
- Positively impact underserved communities by providing services free of charge to indigent or incarcerated litigants.
- Satisfy annual pro bono commitments and requirements.
